Default Flipping LS2 throttle body

Are there any issues with flipping the throttle body over on a LS2 to put the motor on the driver's side of the engine? I am doing a conversion, and the brackets I want to use will work fine if the TB is flipped to clear the alternator.

It works perfectly well flipped. That's how we have it on our LS2 S/C stroker.

I have seen this done before when converting a c5 over to the 90mm gm ls2 throttle body.

everybody told him it could not be done that way and that it would not work, but he has proved us all wrong and even sprayed 150-200 horsepower through it that way.

Thanks guys. I was pretty sure that there were no issues with flipping it, but just wanted to check. I flipped it, and the alternator now fits like a champ, but now I have to mount a remote PS resevoir since the flipped TB now makes the factory one go away. If it ain't one thing it is another! Also had to bend the steam line pretty hard to make it clear the TB, but it clears OK now.

Yes, when we convert C5's to the LS2 TB, we flip them over to avoid the power steering. They work just fine.

On a C5 you actually install it "Correctly" to clear the power steering. The C6 stock is on the passenger side.
