Here is a bump for trying.
The problem is the Iron Block.
9 out of 10 want aluminum for obvious reasons. (weight)
Cast Iron is for a max effort build.
This is a budget race motor and does not need an iron block.
It is just not worth the weight penalty.
The thin decks on the L92 heads won't hold a head gasket with a big shot or big boost.
Best of luck on your sale though.

Well thanks for your opinion about the motor setup (We do build motors occasionally). Try telling that to everyone who owns a 408 I think they would most likely disagree with you. The choice for the iron block was one price. Second with some iron blocks if sonic tested can be bored out to 4.060 and still not lose its strength. We went this route to pull the most from the heads since this bore is closer to the L92 block bore. As far as weight penalty that is obvious but everyone who goes with iron knows that. As far as the thin deck yes you are correct but as you can see this motor was not built for forced induction. If one were to go with either of those setups they would be smart to select a different head anyways.
And yes it is a budget motor that is exactly why we selected the parts we did. We wanted 520-550 rwhp out of a budget setup and be a perfect street/strip motor.
Thanks for the bump anyways.
