About 128 lbs. more according to Karlo's excellent description.
It's very flattering to see GM adapt so many important Warhawk features and we also appreciate that our LS7X head design will now work on a block other than ours.
Karlo, are you on the design team?
No wonder WJ spent so much time admiring our block at last year's SEMA...

GM has been stressing the whole concept of "Benchmarking" a lot lately. You know what they say, imitation is a form of flattery.

They both are awesome blocks!

The only downside I see to this is that some guys will not like the orange color. Other than that it looks awesome.

why you say that??? ok the Warhawk one is more exspensive (right??) but its also alot lighter! depends on what you want!

be nice to see how much both can hold upto. i think we are going to see alot more 1000bhp daily drives soon! just need nelson racing and a few others to start getting their hands on them

Thanks Chris.

Lighter is one thing but when it comes down to us street car guys that don't have a big check book like some on here, GMPP will sell a lot more blocks than Warhawk will.

Who gives a crap if one block weighs more than another, it's not like most of us race for money at the drag strip anyways.

The cheaper block will prevail overall.

Robin, waiting for that .pdf file is killing me. The LSx world will never be the same now...

gmpp is 2000, warhawk is 4000+ all the specialty parts of theirs you have to buy to make it work.
looks like you can also go quite a bit bigger on bore with this block. nothing else out there goes to 4.250.
