and since the stock Lsx cranks have been run up into the 800's in hp levels with nodular iron...im sure the forged piece would be just as good with the new ones, if not better.
only problem being the longer snout though....hmmmmm.....
cutting the snout down..installing the wheel..plust the crank price. wonder if it would still be cheaper than an aftermarket? anybody know?

very well could be. i have no idea what the machine work would cost. i can just get a killer deal on that crank. maybe some of the shops/sponsors that can do it might post up about it.

I have 4.000" Cola cranks for $995. Close to the same price as the LS7 and just as good without the longer snout. Comes with the 24x trigger (not installed). If you want the trigger installed it's $35.

just thinking out loud i guess

A 4340 forged steel crank. Cola is not longer in business and we have a stockpile. It's a nice crank. There are people running over 1000hp with them.
