Default Factory LS7 block price

Does anyone know when they are going to drop the price on the LS7 block and what it might go to? Thanks for any help.

y not just wait for the LSx block, it will be cheaper than an ls7 block and have more strenth, more features, bigger bore etc.
if its a weight thing then get a tubular k member if not alredy

and why not just strap the biggest fastest person you can to the front of your car while your at it? 250+lbs is the weight of the block alone. That pure 20th century american iron at work. Not worth it IMO for $2000+. I would go with the L92 block and put a 4.1 crank in it and be at 429ci and call it a day.

yes but the same crank in the LSx block, with the power it can produce, will more than make up for the weight, and if its a f body, then tubulars are very worth the money, a standard mod imo for a 4th gen, the tubular k, alone counters a good 40 lbs. of the weight of an iron block
