HP > RWHP vs Flywheel HP

On the RAM AIR hood (and other places on various other F-Body's I've seen) some advertise their HP number, i.e., 415 HP. I've asked some of these owners which it was they are advertising ... RWHP or Flywheel HP ... and have received mixed answers. The answers are flat out RWHP, which I believe is what should be advertised IF you are going to flaunt the number. The other answer is that it's their RWHP + the added drivetrain loss of 12-15% for M6 cars and 18-20 % for A4 cars. Not counting A3's ... lol!
Is there a standard anyone knows of which would be the correct way to advertise? I say it should be RWHP, however, is there a reputable documented standard? I'm not talking about 'advertised' (flywheel) HP the auto manufacturers use, which are usually distorted for one reason or another. Anybody know a true standard documented standard you can quote?

I would imagine most would put on their rwhp since most cars dont see and engine dyno and that number would just be a guess. Most people dont seem to care about flywheel hp, its what you put to the pavement that matters

Keep 'em comin' ... good feedback folks. I saw one at local a shop here that has 415 HP on the hood, but, it's actually putting down waaaaaay over 500 to the wheels. Didn't make much sense to me. Nah, I don't think I'll do it to mine, but, I think it looks pretty cool to see one with BIG HP numbers on the WS6/WS9 hood ... like 725 HP .. if it's at the wheels and true numbers.

Mine's been sleeper since I've owned it and will likely stay that way. Just doing appearance mods now. Then, I 'll put a badass stereo in it. Mod's never end, I guess. doubt I'll add the HP numbers ... will do the ram air stickers when i get my new hood on, though. Ordered a new airbox to make it functional ...

personally, its fun to hear the different ideas people have about my car. I love when people tell me that they heard from someone who heard from someone who heard from his momma that I have 500 at the wheels.
Then theres always the two or three guys that believe the Ls1 was only 275 from the factory. Why spoil the fun, just let them find out for themselves
