Your accusation cannot be proven one way or the other, but speaking for myself I don't believe it is valid. I have done a lot of business with many companies of all types, and I own one myself. Recognizing the difference between phony and genuine customer service is something I learned long ago. Not once did they ever behave in a way that was not a genuine attempt to satisfy me as a customer, seeking a fair resolution. I did not threaten them behind the scenes either!

A mistake was made and they stood behind their product. I have made mistakes and very possibly will do so again. "He who hast not screwed up, let him cast the first wrench."
