what do you think a ls2 402 will make with these heads and ported l76, big cam, 11-1 compression. just looking for a idea.

well... LG just did 470ish with a 6.0.... I would think the cubes will get ya an extra 20 horses.... so 490-510rwhp... unless the cam and heads are extreme.

extreme? get real. there are 408s running around all over the country with BABY cams and ported stock heads making over 500 to the wheels. hell, Brandon's BONE EFFIN STOCK headed 408 made 470+ to the ground with a fram paper air filter and LS6 manifold and 1 3/4 headers...

and there are some that make less than 500 to the wheels with nice size cam and "stg3" ls6 heads.........

my point was expect 490-510 with a less aggressive setup and over that with more worked heads. Personally I am thinking GG/HKE can get me around 530-560rwhp or more..... we will see... until it dynos it is just bench racing/guessing.

well, its not GG/EK that you need to worry about in that combo, they are WAY more than capable of making that power. its the complementing parts and tune that you need to worry about. see, i'm expecting pretty much the same power NA out of my motor, with ~40 C.I. less and the same heads (different ports tho)

I dont mind tellin ya what I have goin on.

42LB SVO injectors
Custom Fuel Rails
L76 intake
Fast 90 TB
Hooker 1 7/8 longtubes
SD Tune (it will be done right either TRT or SQR will tune the car)
they will spec the cam for me.

what kind of power would you expect??

sorry for the
whats custom about the fuel rails? think those will add some power? as for the tune, i'm positive Scott can get it done right, but there's ALWAYS more power to be had.

not LS2 rails, they dont add power.... just something for supporting the direct port setup down the road. they also will look purty!
