Well, if you take a LS2 block and slightly overbore it for the aftermarket forged pistons and then use a 4.125" stroke...you get a 416. So what is your issue?

Some of the performance calls have been going to the front counter sales so you may have gotten one of those guys. Sorry about that. The 416 is L92. The 402 is LS2.

If you have any other questions give me a call. 806-798-4000 ext 354.

Not the SDPC 416... 4.066 x 4.0....

My issue is I wanted information about some L92s having core-shift anomalies and uneven sleeve thickness, but this guy wanted to argue that the 416 was not a L92 but a LS2... (then he started talking about piston cc dish...).

Is that enough for you...

No...I want more

Seriously though, can't expect all of us to know how SDPC comes up with their combos. So the LS2 slightly bored and stroked to 4.125" equaled the 416.

We haven't had any trouble out of our 416. We also don't overbore it just in case there is a sleeve issue. The core shift that people have been seeing actually looks to be just the way the sleeves are made. The sleeves have a flat edge where they mate together in the block. What people are seeing is that the front and rear sleeves have that flat spot but no sleeve to mate up to so it looks like a core shift issue. It looks kinda bad but has not been an issue.

We have a -2cc flat top and a -10cc dish. I have a dish 416 with Callies crank and rod upgrade in stock. We have been selling these faster than we can build them so I am out of the dish pistons. That means I will not have any of the standard dish 416's until the end of February at the earliest. If you want the one that I have in stock, I will make you a hell of a deal on it.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian, what would the comp. ratio be with the dish block with stock L92's?

Does this come with all necc. wiring to retrofit into an 02' C5?

Can you PM me a price?

Alan

Unless you are going to run a blower or turbo, it would be to low. We would need to flat mill the heads to bring up the compression. The only other thing you would need would is the cam / knock sensor.
