It ain't helping... I'm running the same piston in my C5's 408. My chambers are 62cc giving me around 11.3 SCR.

I was going by a 65cc chamber and .008 OTH. At 67cc, you're at 10.6/7.7

my first goal was 11.5 scr but since the -13cc they say i cant acheive that. i even went with the .040 gasket to help out
cam is in but i can pull it out and advance it some if needed to...what do you think +2*...what would that do for the power band and the RPM range along with the DCR

Maybe change cam or advance it more, but I guess you will start messing with your overlap timing and evc etc. You should probably talk to someone who knows what they are talking about camwise

with what they said.....i figured a L92 head has a 69.8cc and milling them .030 and then using a .040 gasket is .050 off a 69.8cc head...shouldnt that be around a 63cc then?
i spun this motor over by hand with just one head on and on the compression stroke it gets somewhat resistant compared to others motors i spun over... i spun over a 11.1 6.0 and it wasnt as resistant as this 408 is.....which makes me think i should be higher then 10.8
especially since a 67cc head which they claim is 10.6

It is 10.6 with a .04 gasket.
