ET 245`s flow down low (with pics)

It's normal to be impatient and most of us are by nature but when you are dealing with a smaller shop that is busy you have to be patient. OTOH if you want cookie cutter stuff you can get it much faster and easier and sometimes that is great too. If you want a more custom approach with anything and you want the experience of someone that's popular and very busy you have to wait.
Thanks for rushing mine for the Pump Gas Drags last year Erik
You have another Pump Gas Drags car to rush a motor for again this year ... bet you love this stuff

Heck... I have to wait regardless.. the CSV or whatever lifters from SPDC are on backorder for a week or so..... I dont want to use stock lifters..... but I am curious as to where my cam will stop making power........I assume better pushrod control will be a good thing regardless of RPM.
BTW: I did go ahead and buy some 1 7/8 headers

Also is the cost huge to have greg go over the 245's?
As a non-sponsor that respects the board I couldn't say here. The ET 245's make good power just like they come. It would be incredibly arrogant of me to say that I "fixed" them. They are awesome heads, as are TFS and AFR.
All head porters attack the problems facing us differently, and along with that thought I did make some changes to Beard's heads that I believe made them slightly better. Some other head porter that is good and experienced could come along behind me and make that same set of heads even better, maybe. When you buy a set of heads from a head porter they are as good as they are because that's where the head porter stopped working on them. He or someone else can go back in later, spend some R&D time on them, and usually find some more power. That's how the industry progresses.
One thing that I have had going in my favor is the opportunity to work with some top tier engine builders like Eric that are meticulous and are very successful with their builds. I know what it's like to give a set of really good heads to someone who's ignorant of engine building and the whole thing fails. It sucks. I get bad rep from it and learn nothing. I always make sure and give credit and praise to guys like Eric who do their job right, because without them none of this works.

You will have a mid to high 9 sec car on motor and you want a 200 shot
