This is the Duraflex for the Tiger Shark. Same mold. I'm hoping it will hold up a little better getting bumped/dragged which I'm sure is going to happen. Fitment was just OK but I got it to mount up well. Most of that stuff is junk but for this piece I figured it was worth a shot.

I don't think I mentioned it here but I did change out the coilovers. I was running a set of adjustable by a Texas company and when I did the rear flares and 345x30x19 tires on 19x13 CCW SP500's they weren't keeing up. I installed a set of PFADT Featherlights and they are doing the trick. More travel so I don't have to spring them so stiff. The ride quality and handling is greatly improve. I picked up some push/understeer with the larger tires and wheels but a simple adjustment on the PFADT 3 piece Street/Track bars fixed that. The car handles remarkably neutral with a little throttle induce oversteer possible...perfect!

Hey Brian,
I had to have my right knee replaced for the third time in five years last September. The first one got infected and the second came loose. Third times a charm..knock wood. All those years on race tracks with no metal around me.
Just getting my game back in shape now. Let's do it!
How about some pics of the Panoz conversion. Very cool.

My good friend Brandon - The Dingo - on CF gave me a ride down to Va Speed to pick up the Cruiser. Tons of traffic on the way home. We stopped in Fredericksburg to gas up and it had just started lightly raining. Coming back onto 95N I had just moved over from the merge lane and doing maybe 50, the car suddenly made a hard left turn traveling at a 90 degree angle across an empty lane. The last thing I remember was a windshield full of tractor trailer wheels and thinking that this was the end and I was going to get run over by an 18 wheeler. I hit the rear tractor wheels dead on. Loud noise, the airbags went off and I spun around but still managed to beat the airbag out of the way and steer the car to the shoulder. Either something broke or I hit an oily patch. A couple behind me pulled over to make sure I was OK and told the LEO that I was not speeding or doing anything froggy and that the car just turned left.
Oh well, it's just a thing and after thinking that semi was going to part my hair differently, I'm actually pretty cool to it all. Some abrasions on my arms and chest and my upper back and neck are tightening up. Nothing major here.
It's totaled. I will salvage the car and will be selling some very top shelf parts/pieces from engine to suspension to interior to sound system to wheels - all of which were untouched in the accident.

Glad you are safe Kevin...
You might have some painful reminders during the next days (weeks) but that is just the usual and so little to pay in those cases.
I am going to be jealous now you are going to drive a C7!

I jumped off two wheels over 100MPH a number of times with the worst get off at 165MPH. This accident was the only time in my life that I actually thought for that fraction of a second it was check out time.
The C7 will be slower, not handle as well but having done the boy racer thing with the C5, I promised Mrs. WKMCD bolt-ons only...(for the car) We want to do a cross country road trip and I think the C7 will do that nicely.
