It's always fun to see results from builds like this. Hopefully Shawn and Ed will post about other builds they work on as well.

New thread title appropriate with the upgrades from plan "B".

Longest running, best tech-filled thread in LS1 Tech history.

Forced induction is the easy way out.My goal is to make 600rwhp while maintaining the same driveability as it has now.I am already talking to another cam manufacturer, one that cut cam lobes to any profile instead of using predesigned master lobes.Anyway this will allow us to design lobes that will allow us to get the features we really want in a camshaft, not just what they have.We have Blair's 4STHEAD sofware(the same software all the cam compays use to design lobe profiles)so we can design exactly what we want, and they can cut it the way we want.

I agree, it's just that it seems to be the trend these days. I personally don't want the extra weight on the front end.

Ed tuned my car back in October and wrung out all he could with the current cam (ultra-mild) and induction package.

Although I'm very pleased with the outcome, I'd like more punch on tip-in (now that the rear hop issue is being fixed) and more across the board, while keeping a reasonable civil level of driveability.

Could I PM you for some details/pricing?
