Hey All,
After waiting patiently, our first Warhawk 9.240 x 4.155 block came in along with a pair of Warhawk LS7X bare heads. Thanks goes out to the folks at World products for making this happen. We are building a package for a long time customer that we hope to debut at the 2007 Year One Experience as a co-op project between myself and Prodigy Customs.
The car is a 1968 Pro-Touring Camaro and should quite the piece when done. We are looking at a couple articles on just the engines build and dyno, then the car build as initially a naturally aspirated 44x ci package. Next we will be building a custom intercooled twin turbo package.
I tried to upload pics but they were to large, so hopefully the photobucket addresses work okay. Enjoy and thanks.

Thanks guys. I believe this is one of the first production blocks that had a limited number. But there is supposed to be 200 blocks in for inspection and maybe final machining as well as a good quantity of heads. Let me know as I should be able to get whatever you need. Thanks.

Hey Lyle,
Doing great since relieving myself of some of the shop and getting to enjoy things a bit. You ready for one of these yet or should I talk to you about an GM LSx based engine
Pretty soon the theory of a true daily driveable and durable 1500HP and up LS based engine will be put to the test. I am down your way from time to time, so next time maybe we can get together.
Hope all else is well.

I'm waiting for a builder to get his GM LSX iron blocks in so he can build me an engine. I'll PM you the build sheet, insane hardly describes it.

pretty cool stuff, i thought you weren't getting involved in wrenching anymore Mike.
These blocks are the wave of the future. 68 Camaro is my fav year of first gens. If i could find a nice shell I'd do a project like this.

Hey All,
Thanks again for the kind words and glad everone likes the project.
Lyle, I got you PM and will catch up with you for sure.
Jeff, there are decent shells out there, but harder and harder to find a good deal. We just found a decent (some rust, but not bad) 68 Firebird convertible shell here in town for $4800 or so with a title and some parts. Most decent 97-69 camaro shells will run $6000 for an okay piece to $9-10K for a good roller.
383ss, the heads are bare and as cast. We will be doing some preliminary flow testing with standard pieces and then see what happens from there.
Thanks again everyone.
