My Comp spec'd L92 cam
I called Comp to spec me out a cam for my motor. It is a 402 LS2 with -14cc dished pistons at 5 out of the hole. It has unported L92 heads with dual springs, heads are milled to 63ccs. I have a .040 cometic on the way as we speak.
The cam they gave me was a 236/248 with .602/.615 on a 112LSA. This is much smaller than the originally 25x/25x grind I was looking at. I'm hoping to get my compression close if not to right on 11:1. I'm not sure how to factor in DCR, but I imagine it will be much better than the original route I was taking.
I'm not looking to break any records powerwise. This is a college kid's daily driver. However, I would like to see anywhere from 470-480rwhp while retaining some street manners. I'm aware the DCR will not be perfect and that some low end grunt might not be there, but I have a 4400 stall. When the 10 bolt bites the dust in, oh, a week or so, I'll be looking into a 3.90 or a 4.10 gear ratio. The car's going to be Ed Wright tuned locally so hopefully he'll be able to help me rape every last hp out of the beast.
What are your all's thoughts on this cam? Any number guesses? Hopefully this will work out like I'd like it to. If not, in 6 months or so I'm sure someone will have this head/cam combo nailed to wall. Maybe even a more affordable, street manner oriented sheetmetal intake will be on the market
If you are running the stock L76, you may be very disappointed

My L92 heads are at a local guy getting the bowls and exhaust cleaned up and milled .030.
I sent the throttle body off to get it ported/polished eariler this week.
I'm gettin exicted!!!!!!!!!
Question, I'm getting my car dynotuned at Ed Wrights shop. Can he do a custom mail order tune so I can drive it to him or should I just have it towed there?

EDIT: I just noticed that he changed the specs in his post. Please disregard previous statement about intake manifold

From my past experiance with a YANK 3600 and his mail order tune........ tow it there.
