I was under the impression it came with a custom set of lifter retainers ... i.e. we wouldn't have to swap to tie bar lifters. Oh well... more money

The lifter has a special retainer that GM was going to supply. It held a pair of stock lifters in a plastic type device that was very nice and bolted down between the lifters themselves with a single 6mm bolt.

The guy at PRI said that any LS based head will bolt on, but if you want to use the extra head bolts, you'll have to get with one of the aftermarket head guys like ET or A/P, maybe World will offer the GM bolt pattern in their heads down the road too.
The same guy had a small nifty 2-lifter retainer thingy that bolts down and works like the factory lifter tray. I'll bet that Jesel will eventually make a dogbone retainer that bolts in that same hole for high-end lifters.

They come with billet main caps. I believe standard LS1 main studs would work.

Any write ups or information on a full build yet?
Anyone have one together and running yet ?
I know the current aftermarket heads don't have the extra bolt holes,
but can you drill em out and make the holes?
You can run without using the extra bolt holes right?
Do all the other LS1 parts bolt up easily ?
