Default 414ci with TFS 235cc dyno predictions

Well my TEA/TFS 235cc with the Harlands are sitting and ready to be put on my 414ci. Will I lose hp using the Harland? It is a 6.0 iron block with a 4.060 bore and a 4.0 stroke. I have all the goodies 90/90,KOOKS w/true duels ,etc, etc. My comp. will be 11.8. The cam is 244/248...612/615...112LSA. What spark plugs should I use? 6's or 7's.If weather holds they will on this Fri. What do you think it will put down at rwhp?

How many threads does one need to get a false sense of hope? I vote 250 rwhp, that way if you make more, hey you beat my expectations. Way to go.

Id like to venture out on a limb and predict that he set his hopes too high, and the heads didn't do much if anything for his setup and possibly even lost power. Hence why we haven't seen him post about it.

Nope. I believe I read on another board he's been driving the car around with the new heads and its been WOT dyno tuned. They were supposed to be working on driveabilty. This was on a stangs board he frequents by the way

IMO he needs to not listen to other shops and get out of the 11.8-12.5:1 range and come down to 11.2:1-11.5:1 territory.... whoever said you need to run over 11.6:1 to make power is nuts. not that 11.8 is all that bad.... much better then the last setup.... atleast now he can run safe with good timing on pump gas. Not like Jerm has a 12 bolt or something in the car anyway to run at the track.

Good luck. I wouldnt care if the car made more power... as long as it is pump gas friendly in the Texas heat.

You can make just as much power at 11.5:1 as you can at 12:1

So what you are really saying is that the heads didnt make what you expected, Tooley is giving you another set of heads to try out, correct?

Why not? Everyone is interested in your results, good or bad. We can safely assume they are bad so what is the deal. We all can learn from this. Dont be a *****.
