You got that thing in there pretty quickly. I still haven't taken my old blown up one out and it's been 4+ months.

Well the exhust is in!!! I took it for the first road test today!! It feels very strong, But the Spec twin disk clutch its very aggressive and hard to take off from stops, Hopefuly when it breakes in it will be nicer, Later today I will take it out again!!

Well might be a while. I need to pull it back into the garage and rip the clutch back out

I drove it about 20 miles around town today all went good exept a very harsh engagement, so I took it out on the interstate for a 3 mile, exit to exit trip. In 4th gear I gave it half throttle and watched the tach climb and the speedo not move! Just to make sure I tried it again same thing, so straght home I went.

When I installed it I had about 1/16" air space between TOB and PP.
Well the TOB must be pushing the clutch finger in some without pushing the pedal!!

The clutch is out
Is this Normal wear for 20 Miles?
I remeasured the air gap between the TOB and PP, I have NO air gap to negative air gap no wonder the clutch is sliping!

Ahhh that sucks. I think you should just get a Tex clutch. I heard those are great.

Maybe even a LS7 for a budget build till you get a really mean clutch.

Well this is supposed to be a really good clutch! Now that I got it I have to make it work some how. I don't need a $1400 clutch laying around as a paper weight!

Yeah I have the tex single disc, its like stock but I won't lie I worry about it being able to handle the power....luckily I'm not a weekend drag racer I may go to the track 3 times a year with drag radials.

I mean "dropping the clutch" in this car is just wasting tire rubber.

BTW are you running cats? I'm thinking of going to a Magnaflow but worried it will be too loud..
