925.7 @ 9600RPM Flywheel HP NA
Well we got our LSX engine dyno'ed yesterday and in the car ready for the track this morning. As far as I know we have the highest N/A numbers with a cathedral port head @ 925 @ 9600rpms. Here is some of the information on the engine build.
LSX Engine 418 Inches
Callies Magnum XL Crankshaft
Comp Custom Camshaft
Daily Oil System
937 Jesel Lifters (Lifter tru by Weston Machine)
Diamond Pistons
Jesel Belt Drive
ET 255 Clylinder Heads Ported by Greg Good and Assembled
Jesel Custom rocker arms
Springs and Valves picked by Greg Good
Sheetmetal Intake by Beck Modified by Greg Good
W2W Dry Sump
We made 15 pulls with the first 3 just break in with checking everything. We made a total of 12 pulls to 9600rpms with the hp continuing to climb past 9600rpms. We never did reach peak power as we decided to pull it off the dyno and put it in the car for the track tomorrow.
I have to give a big thanks to GREG GOOD for all of his hard work over the last 2 weeks in getting these heads setup and ready for 10K rpm shifts. With this engine being built for HIGH RPM shifts we new it would take the best of what we could get. We owe a huge thanks to Don Bailey also for sending us to Charlie Weston for the lifters and for telling us this was not impossible.
LSX Event here we come!!!!!!!

Good job guys, Greg called me yeserday to tell me, I could not believe it. That is awesome. I hope we get our car worked out for the race. We ran ours last week and made in the 920's too with a single cast four barrel efi. I can't wait to hear that thing at 10,000 RPM. We made peak at a touch over 8000. See you guys down there!! Get that dyno sheet posted already! lol

Yeah Greg called me yesterday to tell me he talked with you. This thing is a monster at 9000rpms and above. We are going to the track both sunday and rented the track for Monday with the school. We are going to do a few shake down runs but will not make a full run. we know the car works we didn't change anything
