Katech Performance Super Engine Powers C6rs Supercar
Not yet.
also, what other innovations are there in this engine, block included, that is *new*?
Katech 4.205 LS7 style pistons
e.g. does this block include all the innovations of the LS7? is the block a forged billet version of the LS7 or LS1, but just with a taller deck? what about when compared against the LSX? in terms of tech content? say is it some sort of the billet LS1 block that dart offers already but just tall deck?
Billet version of the LS7 with a taller deck.
and also, what is the exact material used in the block? e.g. 6061-T6?? and do you have tensile strength numbers vs lets say the stuff used in a C5R or LS7?
6061-T6, no
and what about a dyno graph or something?
Not released yet
also, would the block fit into a stock C6? what kind of stuff would someone installing this engine into a C6 or Z06 need? e.g. custom accessory brackets? custom headers? and are there any other fitment issues?
Yes, with no fitment issues
and how would the engine do under boost? is it sensitive?
A billet block would be great under boost
what kind of dry sump is used in the engine?
LS7 dry sump or aftermarket
and also, besides the intake manifold and i guess the oil pan, what else is recycled from an LS7?
Heads, valvetrain, covers
i'm in the market for a new engine *right now* and would appreciate it if you could take the time to answer some of these questions

The C6RS engine uses a near stock cam. Off-road only variations such as the Track Attack 500 could use more aggressive camshafts.

There are lots of cool things in this world and on this site that I can't afford, or more accurately, can't buy without my wife kicking me to the curb, but that doesn't make it any less exciting or cool. I'm guessing that the C6rs that belongs to Leno may make an appearance on the Powet Tour next year and that's a good thing. He seems to have a car or two on display every year. Maybe once he retires he'll actually do the tour with the rest of us common folks.
Sorry for the thread-jacking, I tend to go off on tangents some times.
Lets not turn this into a debate about what you can build on a budget.

Very quickly is my guess.
