a 4.1" crank in the L92 gives a 427 (425.x" so pretty damn close)

I think the LS7 block is designed to be stronger as it was built for racing use. The L92 block was designed for production vehicles. I think the L92 should be fine for most folks. If your going to constantly turn it to 7K+ rpm in a LeMan type track, then go with the LS7 block.

Hopefully someone with more info can post up.

Oh yea, I think the L92 uses a different deck angle so LS1 based heads won't fit. The LS7 uses the standard LS1 angles and heads.
Oh then I am stuck with the crapy L92/L76 H/I dam. If I do with the big motor I want to use LS7 or trickflows I will not use L76/L92 . Can anyone confirm this

The ported L92s will flow very close to the LS7 heads. The L92s are much easier to deal with in terms of valves, rockers etc. The LS3 6.2 block is great, however I would not go 4.1 stroke due to the shorter liners.

Um, no. If that was the case, people wouldnt be running LS2's with L92 heads. And LS2 heads =LS6 heads, and LS6 block = LS1 block. So clearly, not an issue. You thought wrong.

What where your Dyno #'s and track times

Not to bash the setup its good for the money and I know the flow # are there but the powers not, in the 2 motors that I put together at my job (408w/L92/l76 ) I have seen the same #'s from an ls2 with TFS heads . Obviously the big motor made more down low .
