Default Question on L92 to 4L80E

I want to match a L92 to a 4L80E but the flex plate that came with the engine has a strange hole configuration (not 6 bolt as per converter). Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Also, I can't find the part number for the fly by wire pedal, will a Holden FBW work?
Thanks
Bruce

Weaker converters have 3, Bigger better converters have 6.

Um, yeah good point. I have a PY3600. If you read, my response was regarding the thread, where he's asking about the stock flexplate bolt pattern.

Im not saying that in a bad way, but your "better" converters built to handle big hp are USUALLY 6 bolt.
Look at every SFI FLEX PLATE, it has mounting for 6 bolt converters NOT JUST 3.

Bill Reid - Roll your eyes when you leave the line and you have a bolt failure, the converter shifts because there are only 2 bolts holding the converter and wipes out the front pump seal and fluid dumps all over the rear tires and you eat the wall.

My 3 bolt Vig for my 4L80E is gonna do me just fine... I'll never be at a power even remotely necessary for a 6 bolt... IMO, neither would most on this forum. If one uses good SFI approved parts and hardened hardware the chances are even more remote. Your comment, to put it nicely, is/was a little too generalized... hence the Don't sweat it... I'm not

Need to get a different flexplate. Need to find one off of a truck 6.0 that had a 80 from the factory. I'm not positive on the exact one though.

Use
PN 12551367 Flexplate (1x) $88.98
PN 12563532 Spacer (1X) $29.59
PN 12563533 Bolt (6x) $3.88 = 21.96

My Yank converter was made to go from an LS1 flexplate to a 4L80e tranny. Works great with a stock flexplate. If the LS1 flexplate will work for ya, I am getting rid of my stock one, after just 3 months of use. Switched to a TCI.
