I realize it's the CONCEPT Camaro, but is the LS2 really out for this car?

I just don't see the LS3 engine for the new Camaro. Wouldn't that be competing with the Corvette, something GM has always tried to avoid? Albeit, they did allow the 'Vette's LS2 in the GTO.

it may compete hp numbers wise, but the vette will out perform the camaro easily. Its lighter, lower to the ground, 2 seats, bigger tires, race suspension, brakes, etc.
