L76 6.0L Cam Choice, Opinions...
Looking for Opinions, good or bad don't be shy...
My build is for a 3200lb 2WD sport truck conversion. I'm wanting optimum HP/TQ under the curve and good MPG while cruising. Will be running a 2800 Fuddle converter through a 4L80E and 3.5 gears.
6.0L LQ4 short block with 6.7cc dish pistons
L92 heads angle milled to 64cc / Hollow stem LS3 intake / REV stainless exhaust valves
L76 intake / Holley 90mm throttle body / 39# Injectors / Performance Plus fuel rails.
Comp LSK custom grind camshaft / 921 springs and titanium retainers
LSK Intake lobe #2125 ---220 @ 0.050 / 269 @ 0.006 / 0.632" lift
LSK Exhaust lobe #2127 ---228 @ 0.050 / 277 @ 0.006 / 0.639" lift
Ground +4 on a 108ICL with 112LSA
0.006 / 0.050
IVO 26.5 / 2
IVC 62.5 / 38
EVO 74.5 / 50
EVC 22.5 / -2
Static Compression is 10.42:1
Dynamic Compression is 8.45:1
How much crank HP and what will the torque curve look like? Any recommended changes?

That's what I'm hoping for. I want the highest average HP and torque possible. Also, I don't want it to draw any attention until its to late... "Street Sleeper"...
2005 Stock LQ4 6.7cc dish pistons. ARP rod bolts, head studs and camshaft will be the only changes to the short block. I'm going to mill the L92's 0.035" down to 64cc chambers.
Should have a static compression of 10.42:1 and dynamic compression of 8.45:1
4.00" bore X 3.622" stroke
LQ4 iron block Deck -0.010" out of the hole
Pistons 6.7cc dish
64cc combustion chambers
Cometic 4.060 X 0.051" head gaskets
So am I on track???

There is some lope at idle and you can tell it's cammed but it's not over the top. I had a 220 220 581 114 lsa cam in before and the bigger 224 cam isn't as punchy down low but has a bit more up top. Hp peaks in mine @ 6500
My scr is 10.5 and chamber is 69cc with a 4.130 cometic .050 gasket.
I don't know what HP you will make but I will put money on it running 11's straight up.
A good set of pipes will make this beast as they are very exhaust sensitive.
Good luck with it.
cheers

How's it going Stingray. Have you put the cam in yet?
Any reason for the LSK lobes?
I like the idea of 112+4. That's what I am planning for mine on a 224-230 or similiar. cammotion are meant to respond well in L76's. Xe's work too.
I was thinking of the XE's for slower ramp rate and valve train reliability.
