Default Anyone used 5.3 heads with a torquer v2?

anyone used 5.3L heads with a torquer v2 cam????
Im wondering if there will be enough clearance

if youre using this in a LS1

#1 your in the wrong section, post in the LS1 section

#2 yes , even if its the 5.3 stage 2.5s from TSP, but only if you use the non cosmetic gaskets, so I tink .060" or something, it should be fine, but ask someone else to be sure..

We use our bigger valve stg 2.5 5.3l heads all the time with torquer camshafts. We can set it up with a little bit of decking specific to that camshaft!

i ran mine with a TV3 with .040 headgaskets with the 2.02 valves with no issue

Are those cosmetic gaskets bigger than usual or ones tat up ur compression???
There wouldnt be any flycutting involved???

Yea sorry bout that I thought i posted that up in a genIII forum
Im not sure, but I think the .060" are not the cosmetic gaskets.. anyways Im sure those ones clear.

I believe the valve diameter will since during lift/duration the valve is open and if the valve has a larger diameter it can conact the piston easier than if it had a smaller diameter...

I doubt springs have anything to do with it clearing, unless you use weak springs and they float the valve, then your piston can slap the valve...
