Default LME LSX 454ci fresh off the crate. (56k go take a dump)

Came in friday. Going on top will be TFS 245s and either a mamo ported fast setup, or maybe talk to Ron about going to a 100+mm fast setup? Opinions on that?

The set up is / will be:

LSX 454ci 4.185 bore
12.0:1 compression
Callies compstar 4.125 stroke crank
Callies 6.125 H beam rods
Childs and albert rings .043 .043 (300 shot)
Wiseco 4.187 forged pistons
Cam Motion cam 257 / 266 .646 .630 112 + 4 @ 108ICL
Yella terra 1.7 rockers.
Kooks 1 7/8 Lt's
ASP pully

T56 + tex exoskel
Strange 12 bolt 4.11's

I have to say, Bryan was great in answering all my questions and emails! I went over with him everything I wanted, my goals and how I wanted the motor to come to me (everything assembled, all I wanted to do was drop the heads on and go) and everything went as planned. Felt like Christmas all over again as I tore apart the crate! Thanks to all the guys at LME

All I need to decide on now is some kind of PCV system / vacuume pump setup and whether to go electric cooling or go with a stock pump and bigger radiator. I Dunno yet. Still have a little time to decide.

Anyway, here's the pics I took right after I opened it.

Right on man, looks great. It would be cool to see someone try the 100mm setup, id go for it with that 300 shot. I'd also look at the Kooks 2" headers if you don't alreay heave the 1 7/8's...

I heard TFS tested the Kooks 1 7/8" against the Kooks 2" on their 440 LSX with TFS 235's and saw no gains on motor, of course they will help on the spray. You might contact TFS Tech and try to get some numbers...

Looks like a killer build, Congrats!

I already had the 1 7/8 kooks from my last build. If you know someone who wants to buy them I can step up to a 2" but then I believe I need an aftermarket K member which im not on the market for right now.

I had to notch my K member as it is. I was getting faulse knock and it was annoyingly banging.

didn't realize you are close to me.

Put them up for sale and see if you get a bite. I just sold my 1 7/8 myself. aftermarket k-member is not a bad idea though, help offset all the extra weight and assure you have room for your headers. Nows a good time to do it with the motor out. Funny how sometimes you won't see a bigger header make a difference till you hit the track. i heard the same thing when i did the 1 7/8 on my 347. But, I would think the 2" would shine with the N2O if nowhere else. I always think on the extreme side though as it seems everytime I do/buy something, i wish I would have got the bigger better one, lol. so I'm sure the 1 7/8 are fine and the FAST 92mm set would be fine too .

Also, heres some pics of my LSX 427 i'm throwing a turbo on https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...6041&highlight= .

BTW, I have a brand new UMI k-member I'll make you a deal on if your interested .

This is why we decided to go with the ARH 2"? Heheh...

Dan if Jermzz isn't interested we may be interested in picking up that K-Member... Since we have the exact same motor enroute soon (it was being built side by side with Jermzz's)...

BTW DanZ28 your motor is the sickness, saw it on Norcal...

Awesome looking engine jermzz Congrats man.

Good lcuk with the rest of the built I'm sure that thing will make 600rwhp+ N/A and 900rwhp+ on the spray.
You cant go wrong with either Ron or Tony but IMO bigger is better and you should look
at Revxtrem they build 105mm TB if I'm not mistaken.

That's going to be one serious freight train pulling machine when it's finished! Congradulations on it.
