Just wondering if there are any cams that make decent power with a stock manifold? Reason im asking is because im tight on funds. Shooting for 400rwhp..

For a tight budget you have a couple different options.

The Thunder racing cheater or old man cam made for this purpose, or the Edelbrock no tune cam.

The TR cheater or old man cam will require springs good to .650 lift and they recommend titanium retainers as well and this makes it a lot more expensive.

I offer the Edelbrock "no tune " cam with springs and pushrods for a real decent price as well as letting you use my cam install tools to do the job. It doesnt get any easier or cheaper than this.

Both those cams listed by Fraser will require a good spring package and titanium retainers. That adds over $100 to the cost of things.

Thunder Racing has it in a package deal for 709.99 plus shipping

LPE cam.... LS1-GT11 215 / 231 .631" / .644" 1.7 ratio 118 Cant use the Patriot golds, you need a more expensive spring.

TR cam......"CheaTR" - 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA. Can use the Patriot gold or the PAC 1518

Edelbrock cam....207° / 220° .573" / .580" E 118° Can use the PAC 1218 and stock retainers

TR and LPE will make more power but you have more expense associated with it.

The CheaTR cam will typically give 35-40 more rwhp over where you are now. It's almost impossible to make over 400 rwhp with stock manifolds unless you have really killer cylinder heads or larger displacment.

you tricked the best, but I caught it. The intake manifold does not really affect your cam choice as much as the exhaust manifolds do. Pick the MS4 if you want to get close to 400 rwhp cam only. The ls1 manifold will be choking the cam, but it will make a lot of power even though.

Mods this needs to be moved to the Gen 3 internal also.

I would contact ed curtis over @ FTI and have him come up with a custom grind. You should plan on getting a fast intake in the longrun though.
