Top lifter is Morel, second would be the new Cranes. As for harmonic damper, ATI would be my choice.

Tell us about your application. These lifters maybe a little over kill. What are you planning? We run the LS7 lifters in a lot of applications with really great results. If a $130 lifter set can do what you need, then I'd save the money IMHO!!

Good point^^^ I have Morels with link bars in stock but if all you need is the LS7 then you can save yourself about $400. What cam and springs do you have?

They work fine, I have used them in a couple of builds. Less than $200, and have a slightly stiffer spring than stock in them.

On a side note, I have personally seen 2 different sets of the "Caddy" lifters, (not the part number you listed), have 1 or 2 plungers and retainers break apart. Low mileage, 7200 rpm.

when i had my local dealer look up LS7 lifters, he told me it is the same part number as the LS1, LS2, LS6 lifter. some please let me know.

thanks

All of the LS based engines, car and truck that are not DoD use the same lifters, period. LS1,LS2,LS3,LS4,LS6,LS7,LQ3,LQ9.

The term "Caddy Lifters" got their name because they first got used in the CTSr race cars and will rev to 8000 rpms. Not needed on 99% of the street cars.

You are apparently building a 1000RWHP?? If it were me, I would spend the extra $250 and get the Morel's and not worry about it.
