and i wasn't trying to imply that your cam is going to be a dog with those heads..i don't have the experience or the working knowledge of your combo to know for sure..just from what i have seen or read about the L92s they like different valve events than LS1/2 heads..but i could be way off,i'm definately not a cam expert...

So I said to myself, "Self...there's only one way to find out."
That's one of the reasons I'm doing everything like checking the PTV clearance, checking lifter preload, and now trying to find a way to get a LS2 MAP sensor to fit in the LS3 intake. If there's a way to make her run strong without pulling this cam, then I'll find it. If not, I'll contact someone who will sell me a good cam for the heads.

The heads come on our cars stock in the L98. Usually we see a 60rwhp gain from small cams as a minimum. Some bigger cams than the one in this car have made the same power but the torque curve is ugly. Probably because of the IVC as you suggest. Flycutting is then a must.

Thats 430 rwhp on a DD add 12% to that figure about 483rwhp on a 218 224 xfi but 112. This isn't a happy dyno either looking at some of the stock cam figures. The xfi lobes have produced some amazing numbers. The synergy cam has a 224 intake, which is the most common here on 6L gives the best of both worlds. Going bigger requires a flycut if u wanna advance it some or run some good comp.

Got the heads on without breaking a bolt, valvetrain is in, but rockers need to be torqued...headers on. Tired as hell.

FIRE IN THE HOLE!
She fired right up on the first crank...and the tapping went away after I took her out to break in the lifters.

Took her out for a couple check runs, and it gave me a hard on.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Need to do some tuning tomorrow.
