nearly everything is junk on these cars(mechanical wise) 3 main parts to these cars. motor, tranny, rearends. trannys and rearends are junk. the lightest/weakest transmissions that gm builds and we ask the most out of them. sry, doesnt make sense to me.
if u came and asked where to buy parts to rebuild a 10bolt, should we just tell u where and NOT tell u that they are JUNK. no, we would tell u it needs replaced w a better unit.
look at anyone making descent power, u will see th350, th400, and 4l80es.
if i were u, id spend the money on a rossler, or wherever, the peace of mind alone is worth the money, and in the long run will most likely be cheaper. tranny is nothin to put a bandaid on or skimp on.
