I had an awesome weekend as well, although the sun kicked my ***! I really enjoy the LSX Shootout and NMCA event, but it was pretty neat having an event to ourselves. Hopefully it showed enough promise that Holley will decide to make this an annual event. Beech Bend is an awsome facility, you can't really ask for a beter place to race.

I was just happy to get my car together and drive it down for the weekend. Ended up entering the car show to help support the event by participating. I had the black GTO on mesh wheels and the F1A Procharger.

Big thanks to Mark and the whole Ohio Boys crew. I wasn't sure if I could get off work for this event, so I ended up making a decision at the last minute. They had an extra hotel room, and were kind enough to keep it booked so I'd have somewhere to stay for the weekend.

Really can't say enough about the character of the racers at this event. Everyone is a competitor by nature, but I never saw anyone afraid to lend a helping hand to another racer in need. Looking forward to next month already!

Yeah I got those XP's from you, and then I sold them.

I think you should keep it calico or patchwork... very entertaining. In fact make me one.

Excellent event. It was nice to have nothing but ls everywhere. We came up saturday and stayed the night. This was my first trip out of town with the car and she did great. It feels so great cruising a 41 year old car down the parkway getting 20 mpg (untuned). Next year Ill be ready for some autocross action and maybe a little drag racing. I was in the show and shine but I'm more of a driving kinda guy then cleaning. Thanks to everyone that pulled this off and I'm looking forward to next year.

Sorry I did not get back with you but I had tranny failure and that put me out of the race. How did you do? If I get my car fixed in time I will catch up with you at the LSX Shootout.

Me and a couple of buddies showed up and had fun. Unfortunatly we only brought one car (Auto-X) but hopefully next year we will have better luck.

Had fun meeting new folks, checking out all of the nice rides in the car show and watching the fast cars do their thing. We look forward to coming back next year.

Had a great time and got alot of video and pics and met alot of awesome people. A very good all around event. There was always somethin going on to keep me happy there. Beech Bend is a bad *** facility, best track i been to yet. Also got a new personal best with a bolt on 6 speed car 11.94 at 113 with a 1.61 60 ft. Has a good bit more in it i have yet to unleash. Also ran an 11.994 on my chit tune.

I had a blast. And one of my favorites was your car man.

I would like some one on one time with it and my camera. Since you don't live to far away.

I had a great time, thanks again PSJ for the hotel rates. I lost 2nd round in bracket, but took home the win in index! Thanks again Holley, BMR, and Herzog Racing Engines.

Nice 4th gen, you had an 11.0 on your window... car sounded nice.

I was the guy in the orange/black PLSX shirt and the camo floppy hat up at the line or pulling Andy to the lanes.

I can't get over what a great time I had. I've been to 95% of the LS events over the years (Tony and I put on about half of them) but this was the best even ever. Next year I'll bring something interesting and race too.
