Trans Am owner--Rogers, AR
Well guys...Ive been a member of the site for awhile now, but never really made a formal introduction at all, I have a few F-body buddies on here already..just making a late start.
My ride--1999 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, charcoal interior, M6..dont know build #'s or anything yet...bought the car almost 3 yrs ago with 26k on it, now it has about 74k
Nothin too special about it, its my second F-body, my first car was a red 1995 M6 car...got me all the way through high school and started knocking when it dropped oil pressure on the way to my high school graduation...made it all the way to school 20 miles away tho. =)
anyways, my performance mods include
-SLP lid
-Smooth bellows
-SLP loudmouth exhaust
-Hotchkis dual adjustable panhard bar
-Hotchkis lower control arms
-Hotchkis strut tower brace
-Eibach pro kit
-all ARP hardened wheel studs (bastards kept breaking)
i think thats it....the car dyno'd 314rwhp and 356ft. lbs of torque
Ran a 13.31 at 108mph with a 2.8 60ft...hopefully could knock some off that 60ft time and get it down a little lower... (baaaald tires at the time)
Well, thats it for now, hoping to get some good use outta the site, for the most part everyone seems real knowledgable and drive some sick sick cars.
i attached a few pics...the first is the most recent
(the car has been through a few sets of wheels, and somehow the ones i have now are my least favorite. =p)

lol not even close...
They are made by a CHEEAP (and i mean cheap) company called Drifz--wheel is called a Venom i believe...i like the look...but they balanced like ****...dont ride well..same tires on different wheels and it drove like a cadillac.
The wheels in the third pic are american racing rebels (shoulda kept them)

'Preciate it man, but do you think i could stand to gain that much out of a tune with just exhaust and a lid, i thought my numbers were decent considering stock the car is (under)rated at 325 hp at the crank, if i add back 15% of my RWHP number to account for drivetrain loss that puts me at about 361 at the crank. (Assuming im right in saying you lose 15% or so through the drivetrain)
