New Member From GA I have been a member of another forum for a few months, but I just noticed that you guys have a section for LT1's too, which interests me because my car is a 96 Trans Am. You also have a forum for paint and body work, which interests me because my car is a rebuild. You also have a forum for convertibles, which my car is. So lots more to learn here. I already posted a couple of questions, and also some answers that hopefully people will find helpful. Or maybe they will think I am just a know-it-all noob. Either way, I'm glad to be here.

I only wish, I assumed you knew where I was talking about, my bad. When we talk about the track we are talking about South Ga Motorsports Park in Cecil/Adel, GA. You can go to www.racesgmp.com to check it out, the factility is top of the line!

I see they are having a test-and-tune night Thursday. If I don't get stuck at work, I will be there this Thursday.
How often do they have test-and-tune nights?

Welcome, I am in Thomasville Too as Andy(Carter01) said. I know its kinda old but I just saw this thread. I dont think I have seen your car around. I will have to check it out. I have a 98 Z28 with the Slp Ultra Z hood and SS spoiler. It is Artic white.
SGMP does test and tunes a couple times a month. It is pretty nice over there for sure. Maybe we can meet up around town sometime and bs a little and maybe go over to the track sometime.

I checked out the website for SGMP and was ready to head over there a while back for a test and tune night. But I called to ask if there were special requirements for a convertible, and found out I need a helmet. So I had to dig my old motorcycle helmet out of storage. But now I have a tranny leak that I want to fix before going there. I hit a concrete block someone left in the middle of I-10 a couple weeks ago heading back from P.C. Beach one night, so I need to replace my tranny pan. It still runs fine, but it will leave about a 3-inch spot of cherry juice in the driveway after a few hours. Hope to get over there soon. I want to get a few benchmark runs on it while it is still mostly stock, then track my progress as I make mods.
