New 4th Gen Owner Greetings Everyone!!
My name is Chris, and although im not new to F-Bodies or LS1 Tech, i am now a first time 4th Gen Owner
My 92 RS was totaled at the beginning of Febuary 2010, and with the insurance money and some savings the new car search resulted in a lucky steal.
I purchased this Black 1997 SS with only 83 K's for $3450!!
Mechanically the car is stock, unmolested and runs strong. Phisically the car is a bit rough around the edges, all minor fixes though. She came with black "rattle can" painted ZR1's which i replaced with 10 Spokes. I will have the ZR1's powdercoated back to silver eventually.
I will be doing some suspension upgrades and a nice tune up for starters, and then ill just take my time and slowly save this car.

Yeah i made sure to check that its a real SS. And the SLP Tags on the door are present. I noticed that it did not have the SS Spoiler the day i bought it. Who knows, my best guess is that someone busted the back glass at some point and just replaced the whole hatch. But she's real
I will find myself a spoiler along with a new rear bumber (small crack) when it comes time to re-paint the car.

Its got all the badges, the first pic just has some major sunlight distorting it. I will take some actual pics with a real camera instead of my cell phone. And thats a good idea about calling SLP and getting some kind of paper work sent to me. All the RPO Codes and such are readable.
But yeah, other than some minor things here and there its a good car to start with. I will keep the mods light and tastefull on this one and just baby the hell out of it...she needs a break and someone to actually care about her...unlike the previous owner...lol.

A full bolt on, tuned SS with full exhaust would be a great car to drive around and baby for sure...those SS badges definately grab people's attention...people of all ages love a clean, black camaro SS for sure...
