New T/A from Chicagoland area
Hi, my name is Damien and I'm 21. I've been on the boards for a while with a few random questions and whatnot but haven't been in a F-body for a few years.
About 2 months ago my mustang was totaled (not my fault) and I took advantage of the situation to get back into a Trans Am.
I live in Joliet, south of chicago about an hour. And I've been into the car scene for as long as I can remember.
About 2 weeks ago I bought my cousin's 01 pewter trans am. It currently has 87k on it. Fully loaded t-tops. Automatic. Pretty much exactly what I wanted.
Current mods:
Motor
-Pacesetter coated longtube headers
-Pacesetter off-road y-pipe
-Magnaflow cat-back
-Slp 165 t-stat
-Slp cold air induction
-Tuned by SpeedInc
Made 343whp 363tq through the 4L60E
Interior
-10inch kicker cvt sub in stealthbox
-Poineer avic D3 touch screen double din
Exterior
-30% tint on front, 5% on the rear
-8000k HID fogs
Suspension/wheels
-Eibach sportline lowering springs
-Nitto 275dr's
Future mod plans
-Slicks/skinnys
-3600-3800 stall
-Build the trans
-Small shot of nitrous
-Some suspension work
-Gears
I've been to the track with it once since I've had it with the current mods and my best is 12.7 at 109mph with a 1.9 60ft
I'd like to get the car in the low 12's with the gear/stall and on a tire before spraying it. But I'd rather not do a cam or go completely ***** out on the suspension as it's my daily driver, and the car sees 70miles a day.
Here is the only pic I have of the car clean right now. I will post more when I get the chance.

Oh where at in Joliet? Looks like chrest hill side? Oh n ditch that stall, couple of my buddys have had awsome results with yank 4400s n seemed very driveable...evin tho o throw driveable out the window as long as it's fast...lol
