Wink New girl - take it easy

Hey kids! New to the forum but I've heard great things so don't disappoint me! Just bought a '95 Miata, which is total crap as we all know, hence why I'm converting to an lsx platform in the current body. Help and suggestions are appreciated!! Stupid comments you can keep to yourself. As far as pics? I'll update soon Looking forward to knowing you guys!!

like he said ^^

either way there are usually engines in the classifieds here, or you can go to your local junkyard and look for 5.3L, LS1s, or 6.0L all good engines.

There's a Miata with an LS1 here locally. Have seen the car at Cars and Coffee a couple times, but the owner was not in sight. Did not get a chance to ask him/her any questions.

Good luck with the project.

Because it's a total overhaul, I am looking for a complete engine /trans/harness to make it a little easier for me! There is a company called Flyin' Miata that specializes in kits, but I kinda consider that cheating and would rather part it on my own. I haven't seen any ls miatas in the NE area yet - they're kinda like Sasquatch here - heard of them, but never seen. Hence why I'm interested Thanks for the tips guys! Very helpful and a good start.
