Thumbs up BiGcamo here....'Merica!

Hello Fellas

I am a noob to this board, and just recently purchased my first F body LS1. I am looking forward to reading as much as I can.

Question? Is reputation here earned or does it go by who has the longest mullet??? If its the longest mullet, I guess I better start to let my hair grow!

Busch Light works, but it needs to be at least a pounder. 24 oz is preferable, though.

I am saving to replace it. I just bought the car so I haven't had it to the track yet, but I am going to take it soon just to get a baseline of where I am at.

There is a drag strip 5 miles from my house so I have no excuse! Plus, because of the strip there are a lot of places with dynos available.

My plan is to go to a test and tune night to see where I am at in the 1/4 mile. Then start to make some decisions from there. I want to drag my car, but I love playing on the streets too so went with the M6.

I'm thinking of going with a Ford 9'' rear end with 4.10s or more.....but I don't know if I can resist camming it first. I can't do everything at once. Eventually, it will have a built rear end, cam, valve spring upgrade, Fast Intake etc. Hopefully some new heads too.

My goals are to make it as fast as financially possible at the track NA then go from there. The motor has been well taken care of up until this point, so I don't want to blow it up TOO quick.

If you guys have any ideas or advice please do not hesitate to tell me.

Well nest thing to do is build suspension, then rear, trans and then the engine. That way you take care of the weak links first. Also tires you can go as wide as 10.5 safely maybe 11" wide. As always post up pics and slips and a vid when you race. Best of luck on your build and racing.

I will drink anything. But 25 oz busch light if you add a wife beater shirt and a mullet odds are you on a Camaro.

Cam is the most "fun" upgrade. Rear is best insurance for M6
I kind of did it backwards in most's opinion (see sig). I did tranny first, then suspension, then cam, head, nitrous, etc. Now I'm sitting on a time bomb @ 532rwhp with 10 bolt Rear WILL be next.

It's sooo hard NOT to do it that way. I am going to try to be a responsible adult and do it right.....but the mullet in me wants the HP NOW!

What else would you suggest for suspension? I cannot wait to start my build.
