More like welcome back Hey guys, not necessarily a FNG, long time member that finally found my way back into another one of God's gifts to the automotive world, the f body. My first f body was a 2001 Z28 in bright rally red. Bought the car bone stock, by the time I regrettably sold it it was full bolt on, 3.73, full exhaust, dyno tune, full stage 2 trans rebuild, etc.
My 2nd go round was a SOM 02 z28. Drove it for a while and had little to no funds for mods after having a daughter, and unfortunately after about 8 months of driving, another driver pulled out in front of me and clipped him doing about 45. Totaled the car. Long story short, I used the insurance money to buy a home instead of another car and spent the last 2 years driving a turd but my family was taken care of.
Finally, today, I stuck my feet back in the water. I picked up a black 02 z28 with 114k on the clock. Auto, t top, tan leather, the car is in incredible shape. It feels good to be back fellas!

Early the plans for the new one first and foremost are wheels, even though I can't make up my mind at all on what I want. Definitely no black and most likely chrome. The car already has a muffler delete (done right actually!) and a slp lid. Appearance stuff for now but will work on free mods soon. Next step after that will likely be longtubes but I need to get the neighbors used to the car first haha
