Real nice site you guys have here.. I learned about it from www.louisvillmustangs.net
Been a GM fan all my life and I have zero brand bias when it comes to Ford V. GM. Dream car is between a black WS6 T/A 6spd or Black Z06.
I own a 1997 Thunderbird 4.6L, as I wanted a RWD V8 car (first car was totaled in wreck) insted of a 4cylinder gas sipper. I wasn't able to get a sports car due to insurance. Now that I have sufficient car knowledge on basic tune up / maintenance I really want to crank up the cubes and HP with a 6 speed car.. And you can obviously guess my first choice of product....
My mods are in the sig, and here is a pic incase you guys are curious.

Thanks bud, I am thinking about saving up and buying a M6 LT1 or very early model LS1 w/ cash so I have no payments... Then I can focus totally on insurance, as it will rape me.
Thanks for the compliment on the car

nice car. I miss my tbird. I had a 95 v8 of course. Not to much to expect with only 3.08s in the rear. Auto only for the v8 and only 205hp with 280fpt. 15.7 bone stock.
The best thing to do is to change out the rear. Put in 3.73s. My car ran 14.6 with just a gear swap. 14.0/14.1 with a programmer and a cai. The programmer will remove the 106mph governor also.
if you are looking for a big upgrade in performance.

Hey, I liked my tbird, really, I had 220k on it when I traded in for my new 2003 hemi truck. Factory air worked and it didn't leak a drop of oil. Car would do 150mph all day. It's just not as fast as my firebird is bone stock. My firebird bone stock ran 13.8 with 2.73s, a4 on stock tires. But than again, the tbird is really heavy. 3875 without the driver or gas. They are good cars for bass too. I had three 12w6s in it. 155db all day, hehe. Those tbirds are real nice cars.

One of my friends used to own a 97 T-bird with the V8 in it. He had a whole bunch of homemade stuff done to it. Had enkei's and red neons on it. Looked pretty good.....
