Hi from the UK!
My name is Clare and I drive a brilliant little car called a Renault Clio. You may not have heard of this car as:
a. it is French
b. they mainly come in 1.2l versions which don't have much power.
c. it has a MPG of over 35.....
However, my car is a special edition and is a 172 Cup version. It has 172 bhp, weighs just over 1000kgs and has lots of bits removed to aid weight reduction. The engine is a 2.0l 16V.

By the way, those pictures were taken at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany, I'm sure you've heard about it. I have driven over 80 laps (I think) and have been a passenger in numerous other cars including a 911 964 RS, BMW CSL, many imprezas etc....
We tend to try and go over there a few times a year. Once you go, the bug gets you and you just want to be there all of the time. It's actually quite bugging that there is a stretch of water between us and the rest of Europe to be honest!!
Anyway, thought I'd drop in and say Hi. Hopefully I can dispell some of the myths about us over here. We don't all speak like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins either!
Just a word of advice, make sure you do not troll if you have come here to dispell myths. Good to here you like to race though

Welcome aboard! Mind sending some Shepard's Pie my way?

What you need is a real proper sunday dinner with roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, but don't ruin it with gravy - I hate gravy.
BTW, we were speaking to our Dutch friends last time we were at the Nurburgring and I happened to say that I could never eat meat at breakfast every day when I got home. He said, "I thought you did eat meat every morning anyway". He actually thought everyone in the UK ate a fry up every morning before they went to work!
So, what other myths can I dispell... Most people in the UK have cereal or toast for breakfast. If we all ate fry ups every day, we'd be as fat as the obese in Detroit!

Would love one, but could not justify the extra £10K for one and losing the 2 back seats. Do they have them in the states? I am actually surprised that someone actually know what a Renault is.... And you pronounce it "RENO", not like Columbo did with his Peugeot....... (silent T)
It's the French you see
I've always had a longing for that which I can't have. I'd love to have a Sierra Cossie, or even a Cossie Escort. We had the watered-down Merkur XR4Ti, but it had some garrish side window treatments that aren't on the Sierra, and of course less power.
Hey! I enjoyed Shephard's Pie while I was over there!
Wouldn't mind a real scone w/ some jam. And speaking of the good ol' English breakfast--when I went to England w/ college, that's ALL we had at every bed and breakfast that we stayed at. I was so tired of eggs and ham after I left that I think I ate nothing but cereal for breakfast for the next 8 or so years.

Also, a pig has numerous different names for it's meat - hock, gammon, ham, bacon, pork chops... the list is (almost) endless.
