New guy with 383 LT1...

Hey everyone,
I've got a 95 Z28 with a built 383 LT1, Nitrous and all them goodies... Blew my rear last pass in october.. with a new best of 11.20@124 mph on a 150 shot and the stock 10 bolt and drag radials. Shredded 2 teeth off the pinion... So now I'm torn between swapping in a 9" or a 12 bolt, any opinions would be great...

took a lot at your page nice steup... 11.20 damn that fast be sure to check out the lt1 section and post a vid of that beast i would go with 12bolt

Thanks for all the comments guys, the 383 is actually very streetable, I could daily drive it if I really wanted to... Lol except no rain or snow

It may be a little pain in the butt to drive every day, just because of the stage 3 clutch and everything... I am about to order my 12 bolt as soon as I can and hopefully break open some 10 sec passes this season

Hey, im new here too. Sounds like you and I have pretty similiar set ups. Im only running a 100 shot though. I will probably step it up to a 150 shot this spring if I dont sell.....

noooooo dont sell, let that bad boy rip! I will probably shoot the 150 shot until I get it in the tens, I know it has it in it once i get a 12 bolt. After I get it in the 10's with the 150, here comes the 175!! haha then comes winter I will be getting Lloyd Elliot fully p&p'ed heads and a custom grind cam to go along with it, then hopefully I will see some mid-low 11's on motor and some deep 10s on juice
