Hi,i firmly support the actions of the founders. Our lady friends should not be subjected to profanity/vulgar remarks or sexually suggestive materials.
However, we will continue to have persons who cannot express themselves without the aforementioned. I often ponder, how would they react/respond to someone using their language in front of their children/mother or spouse.
We each have first ammendment rights but use them poorly at best. The old quote holds true: "the man/woman who uses profanity-lacks the ability to express themselves". Ladies, i appologize for THE men who make such crude remarks due to a vocabulary defecit. Have a blessed day.........jim

I want to thank you for your exquisite apology. Very nicely put. As for the individuals that you mention may be men in body but not in mind. They still may be struggling on how to have a normal conversation with a lady. And maybe there are the ladies who are just like one of the guys, and that's o.k. It's her call to make that known. I played a lot of sports in High School and College, and in my mid-40's now, still play competitive softball, I've heard just about everything. So what do when I hear to exploitative verbiage.... ignore it and consider the source.
PS.. The first time my husband and I went on a date, he said something that was so bad that I curled the four sisters in and threw them straight into his solar-plexus. I can't even remember what he said, but he remembers the punch..

thank you, some women dont get the respect they deserve, i get asked all the time what im "doing" with a car like that, and all i can say back is, what are you doing with a honda? matbe if some guys would grow some and get a real vehicle, theyd see

I have been thru alot cars like 1980 2dr coupe deville lowrider,1996 impala ss with 22' rims, then i found a 97 z28 ran it at the track and that was it(I FELL IN LOVE) 93 HARDTOP Z28 & NOW 98 Z28 HARDTOP.I LOVE LSX MOTORS....BUT MY WIFE SAID THAT I WAS LIKE A LITTLE KID? SHE SAID THAT I SPEND TO MUCH MONEY AND TIME ON CARS.SO WHO HAS A WIFE OR GIRLFRIEND THAT LOVES CARS LIKE WE DO, YALL ARE LUCKY! HI TO ALL THE GIRLS IN HERE

Great to see a couple posts from other women in here. I've been a motorhead since I was 15 thanks to growing up with a drag racing father and brother. The problem I have is that when a 40-something year old woman shows up to a local cruise by herself and there are only a handful of 20-something year old men there, it's not very welcoming. Wish it could be different!

I actually do and she is very hands on as well. Last car was a LT1 and she was the one who put the crank and bottom end together. I am very lucky due to her very girly side and yet her involvement and love for cars also.

I respect women more when they know about cars. I wish I knew more women that had even a clue about what I'm talking about. My girlfriend thinks that my car is a waste of time and money and she gets jealous that I spend so much time with the car instead of her. I wish just once I could talk to her about something technical and I didn't get the blank stare like a deer in headlights. So I say more power to all the ladies in this forum. I totally agree with ROMERO98Z28 and I'm jealous of dans94z28

chris-ss, you took the words right out of my mouth... the worst is when they ask you to explain what something is. and when you do, you have to constantly check if they are still paying attention! (at least with my girl) DONT ASK IF YOU DONT CARE

It made my day when my daughter told me she wanted a CAMARO 
I take her as much as I can out driving in my H/C camaro z28. When she gets her drivers license and the price is right I would start her off with a nice v6 camaro or fire bird.

Just stopping by and saying hi to everyone! I'm pretty new to this site and I love it. Upgraded from a 95 v6 to a 00 z28 b4c. Wonder if there's any cruisers on here that live in Az...
