Jim here, just saying Hi while I trawl through the site.
Currently driving a Rover V8 powered Cobra (Gardner Douglas GD427) and looking to up the power with an engine/box swap (SBF/SBC/LS1/2/6). Sooooo much reading to do.

Jim, that's a beautiful car, I've always wanted one of those. Welcome aboard, the LS1/6 (LSx) may be the perfect swap for that car. I'm sure you'll find plenty of help here and the collective knowledge on this site is amazing.

I have a GD cobra with the LS6 engine on board. Blinding performance and better fuel economy than my old rover 4.5 v8. I have no regrets about the change, just looking to upgrade the heads / rockers / cam at the moment. I will not be happy til I end up in a ditch (again)

Does anyone have an opinion on the pro magnum rocker set (1.85) + ? comp cam ?
