Newbie from Belgium
I'm a French guy living in Antwerp, Belgium.
After a '96 Pontiac and a '98 Camaro, both 3800 powered, I decided to get something a bit more powerful with a '99 Z28. It's navy blue and has only 20,000 miles. Even though these cars don't handle fantastic (that's my opinion!) I love their power on straight roads!! (not to mention the killer sound of the engine!)
My car is currently a stocker, but I've just received my Magnaflow catback which I'm gonna install soon. Next on the plan is a set of wheels, probably some of the new American Racing TT M's in black...

Here in Europe these cars are very unusual and attract a lot of attention. The only thing that really sucks is that all the parts cost the double to what they cost in the US once you've paid overseas shipping and customs

It's an auto. At first I wanted an M6 but then again I live in the city and it's gonna be nice not to switch gears.
The Vette tax? Never heard of that. I presume it's the same as what more and more countries in Europe are doing, which is to tax more the "highest polluters" (= big engines).

The handling will be revised in the next few months with lowered springs and revalved shocks... Trending Topics

Living in Europe (Germany/Austria) I love to drive the Z28 especially on the no speed limited parts of the highway in germany. You may come by to the european f-body forum www.fbodyeurope.org
as far as handling is concerned there are a few guys driving their Camaros on Nürburgring (Nordschleife) and Hockenheim.
I am living here in Belgium too with my 2000 Z28. Living near Mons, commuting to Brussels now and then for work is fun on E19

These cars are a lot of fun here. Exotic and unique. Headturners always! Just wait until you get the Magnaflow exhaust on there. I rumble around with the Corsa in a low gear and it really gets looks. It is nothing like a Peugot!
