Hello from Kingwood, TX Don't let my forum name mislead you. I do not have a z28 as of yet. I will be looking for an ls1 z28/transam in february or march. One of my friends from this site referred me here because when my dad decided that he wanted to get me a new car with a bigger engine I knew jack crap. This site has been very helpful and I've decided what I want to do to the car I get. I'm 17 and I was going to major in chemical engineering but I decided to major in mechanical engineering instead. I'm already in college and haven't decided where I want to go yet (graduated highschool at 15). I have some friends that said they would help me with installing stuff, but if anyone on these forums around my area (100 miles or so driving distance) would like to help me after i've been here for a while, I won't refuse your help. Thats me, ask if there is anything you want to know.
Sounds like you have your head on right, unlike most of today's youth 
Can't go wrong with ME or ChemE. ME will be more broad spectrum, with more cross-industry potential. ChemE is kinda boring in my opinion, especially in the Houston area.
Good luck on the Z28 hunt, make sure you find the car you want and don't settle for less. Don't forget about Formulas, they are a good in-between if you like the Camaro or the T/A.

How did you graduate at 15? Must be really smart, looks like your on the right track. I'm 17 & will be graduating this year, then going on to college to possibly becomming a civil engineer.
