Default New Guy from Florida

Hi everyone. Glad to be here. I've been searching for a 4th Gen for a really long time. I live in Pensacola, FL. I'm in the Navy and work at NASP. I've recently found this Beauty.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ag=1&cardist=0

Any suggestions on the price? I thought it was a little high for the mileage.
The owner of it possibly a member here?? I currently own a 1998 Cadillac Seville STS that I'm trying to sell ASAP so I can get this Camaro. If I do, I'll be a regular around here I'm sure.

Er.. My car just rolled 79000 and I payed 8 for it. I got a decent deal.. Ben bought his for 84 and it had like, 70,000 when he bought it (for reference, mine had 73).

I'd say it is a little high, but then again, the Camaro doesn't seem to resell as much as the T/A does. My roomie found a GORGEOUS white T/A with all the bolt-ons in Georgia for 14,000. I almost, ALMOST messaged the guy, but I just don't need to switch out right now.

Wow chief that is heavily over priced. I paid 14.5 for mine about 2 years ago with 14k miles on it. I got a good deal though. I'd definitely look to ask for 8k or so, assuming everything is good on it. Check the tires, clutch, fluids etc. Don't let them try and fool ya qith th slp headers price etc if they are trying to use that as a means for high price

price is a little on the high side. but to each his own. depends on what you are looking for. if you don't have to buy right now. keep an eye out on the for sale forums. sometimes you get a great deal at a cheaper price b/c we know what the cars are worth.

OMG. Drove the car just now. Awesome. I will now, in no way, consider buying an A4 car. Interior is in really good shape. Exterior needs: Stripes(faded bad), nose has love bug damage, rear bumper has slight spider webbing in one area. Paint over all is pretty decent. Headlights are faded yellow bad, he's replacing though.

What it needs:

Transmission mount: He's replacing that.

79,000 miles.

Everything checks out ok. Kinda on the dirty side but of course that can be taken care of.

He cannot take less than $13K he said. I said I'll take it right now for $10k I have a check. He won't. No one else in the area has called him. I'm going to keep calling him every so often to remind him I have a check in hand. Maybe it'll happen? I dunno.

I would say 10 is fair. For what he is asking you could find a perfect example.

Exactly. I told him that I've seen way cleaner for less than 14. He doesn't want to Budge. Oh well.

Yea my old lt1 camaro was an a4, and the 99 ls1 is a m6. I would never go back to the a4. its just more fun having the m6.

hehe if its in that bad a shape and he cant take less than 13k.. he is crazy. He should be spit shining and molesting that thing to make it pristine

Yeah. It needed a wash. Plus the Love bugs are in there for good. So it obviously wasn't washed enough during the love bug season. My 144,000 mile Caddy looks 20 times cleaner. I guess I'm still on the hunt for a Camaro!! I won't give up!!
