My first car

I bought a 69 firebird this year, It came from Alabama a couple of years ago and I am the second owner in Canada. I am new to the muscle car world all so not to smart when it come to fixing them to new. It has a chevy 454 stroked to a 461 4 speed, dics brakes all around and a ford 9 inch rear end it has been lowered an inch. The first weekend I had it I went drag racing and what a rush my first time. I learnt a lot like I have traction issues and what I would like to set up for drag racing the best time I could get was 14.7 and that was limping it out of the hole.

Great looking car.I have always been a Camaro guy but got my first Pontaic(my 01 WS6 TA)and have liked them ever since. I now own a 72 firebird and my resto project is an original 68 Firebird 400 4speed.Great car...welcome to the site...I am pretty new to it also but these guys on here really know their stuff.
