New Guy From Oregon Great site, glad to be here! I've been lurking for some time and have found some very good information here at ls1tech. I have a 1999 Z28 A4 that I bought a few months ago as a project car. I've already changed the axle bearings, brakes & rotors, installed a catch can, polished the foggy headlights, fixed a bent out fender and am about to put new tie rod ends on. I'm going through all the systems one at a time, thanks to information provided by members here at ls1tech. The car runs great and is a joy to drive. Here's a pic:
Welcome, yeah there are a few of us on here. I'm in Sherwood and work in Beaverton. nice car, I hear you on the rain I just took full coverage off my SS I give up trying to drive it on nice days in the winter

I work in Portland and drive the Z in the rain. It has traction control, if that really helps anything. When it snows, I'll be back in my truck. How's the weather in Vancouver B.C.?

Count me in! I should have my Z in good shape by then. Know any place I can get my car painted for cheap? It has some paint peeling off and needs some minor body work on one quarter panel.
