Newbie to LS1 Hi names Tiffany. Already posted in the "Ladies feel free to psot thread" but definitely forgot about this. In the process of paying for m bird and I also started up a forum for fbody owners in maryland (ls1 is big so i figured id make a smaller one for us marylanders) its MARYLAND F BODY
i grew up around cars - Dad restored old antique cars for a living. (Yes, Fords...lol) We have ... 1922 Grand brothers
1931 model A police car
1928 model a roadster
1931 screenside studebaker paddywagon (1 of only 2 in the world)
1931 Huppmobile (I get this when my dad goes... VERY expensive and beautiful car)
1923 & 1924 Dodge Brothers
1939 International etc... theres more....
but yea, dad got sick and couldnt do it anymore so kinda lost my car ability. But got back into it. I'm anti- ford except for the old stuff because its jsut timeless. savng up to pay off my bird at the moment So im not a clueless girl
plus my boyfriend has had 2 trans ams and now ahs a camaro.

Welcome Tiffany,
Well, that nearly made me cry.
Brought back memories of me and my pop. He passed away 12 years ago. Being a machinist and an engineer, he taught me my love of cars and all things mechanical.
I am sure he would be proud you continued with his love.

my dad got all these cars are shells and completely restored them original himself. no new stuff or anything. the 31 hupp is so beautiful. and its definitely a mobster car. i keep forgetting to take pictures though!
the one wwe have the mosst fun with and take to the most shows is prob the 31 model a police car just because its so unique and fun (sirens and stuff) and its the fastest one to drive. the cars are/were fun. but now that my dad is sicck we dont go to anymore shows or take them out or anything. we used to haul EVERY SINGLE one of the cars to some shows it was hilarious this huge caravan of antique cars. many good times - backfires, stalling, broken fuses, radiator overheating, etc...

im in the process of getting a bird. i havent found one thats "hit me" yet and still saving so i can fix it up right off the bat. all the ones ive found the dudes are jackasses n abused em like crazy. by spring break i should be good. boyfriend had two trans ams and now has a z28. i kill him everyday for getting a z instead of another bird. its not the same.
Well good luck with your search. . . ill keep my eye out for you. If you ever see my car flag me down and say hi. Let me know when you get a car so I can know what to look out for

yup deale is right there. your car looks almost exactly like my boyfriends second ta except he had 2 white stripes down the center. then it got too hot by the cops... lol! i mean, it was the only car that looked like that; very distinct. ill wave! and thanks for keeping an eye out. id appreciate that a lot. these nights staying up on craigslist are getting old quick!
