Hahaha I expected this to be another link to the asian kid wrecking the honda on youtube or something like that. This is proving to be more entertaining though. Anyway, welcome to the site Rikku. This place has anything and everything you could want to know about the ls1/lt1. Btw (by the way) Check the for sale section if youre really thinking of an ls1. Ive seen engine and tranny combos for ~$1000 on there.

ROFL, damn. I go to sleep for like 5 hours and there's two pages worth of comments!
w00t!
HAHA
Let's see... to answer everyone's question...or make a bad attempt to;
I am Thai/Cambodian ;D
I DO have a Myspace (it's in my profile)
and...
I will hump legs if it means getting my LS1/LT1 shoved into my 240SX
Oh... and the import scene isn't..... *BAAAAADDDD* there's just a bunch of retards that make it a disease. xD I pick and choose my little import buddies carefully. Most of them are DSM'ers. (special type... and I mean *SPECIAL* type of people) haha but then again... most boys who are into cars that actually know their **** are pretty special.
So I can prolly count on half the community on this forum to have ridden the short bus? ;o)
It's ok... I did to.

We need to get the word out for lonely gear head women to visit LS1tech! LOL, I knew this thread would turn into a droolfest. Not that I can blame anybody! Welcome to the site, sounds like you aren't ready to buy your motor any time soon so my suggestion is to get on here and use the search feature a lot and ask TONS of questions. There is an amazing amount of info here and lots of knowledgeable people at your disposal.
You don't realize it yet, but you will be putting an LS1 into that 240. You will make the connections on this site alone to make that happen. The "parts for sale" section is where it's at. Find what you are looking for and send PM's to the seller with some "motivational" pics.
Cheers!

Wow, i was gonna say some stupid, testosterone filled comment myself, but after readin page 2, think enough has been said! Anyway, welcome to the site, if you can weave through all the guys coming on to you, you should be able to find yourself both the knowledge and the parts on here to make you dream come to fruition. Also, as the above poster stated, you will be putting an LS1 into that 240, call it an educated guess. The parts are out thier, and cheaper than you think if you dig enough!

Yeah, I know I"ll most likely be tossing that in there at some point. That will prolly be the biggest project I have ever done. I've swapped an H22A1 into a Civic in a vain attempt to help my idiot ex, but he was adamant that the D16Y8 harness would fit on the H22 motor.... this.. coming from a guy who's watched WAY too many F&F movies to actually tell me that when he lived in TX he got pulled over at a gas station and arrested for running from the cops with his "900+ HP eclipse......." and he no longer has his car b/c he had to "give it up"
Anyway...
I don't like retards.. like above stated ex. ;D
But cha, I think by the time I can actually FIND an LS1 w/tranny and all the goodies that come with it (or most of it) for a good price, I should have the money already set aside for it. Annnnnd
If I get the job at Ford, I'll be able to use the tech stalls to do my swap... or go back to Nissan and give them the sweet fluttery eyes and say PLLLLEEEEAAASSSSEEEE?????? and use their stalls ;D
Ha!
